Whenever I'm painting my ambition is to create a discharge by using primarily contrasts. My creative roots are in the fine arts of grafitti and streetart. I truly appreciate the contrast between old and new, filthy and clean etc etc. I don't paint to give people an impression of me as difficult and pretentious, even though I put in a lot of profound emotions and thought into my paintings I still want them to be perceived as easy. When I get an idea for a painting I just try to get it on the canvas as clean and flat as possible, and then the real creativity kicks in. A lot of times it just ends up in a huge mess, if I had a nickle for every swearword... let's just say I'd be filthy rich. But whenever it all falls into place, it falls in to place hard and I get a mad rush out of it.
